Commonly asked questions relating to placing an order
Do you provide VAT invoices?
Yes, VAT receipts are supplied for all orders.
I live outside of the UK, how can I order without paying VAT?
Once you select your billing/shipping country at checkout, the VAT will be removed automatically.
Where can I enter my discount code?
If you’re lucky enough to have a discount code you can enter it in Section 5 on the checkout page.
What is the cut off time for same day despatch?
We aim to despatch all orders placed before 2:30pm GMT/BST on the same working day.
Can I amend my order once it has been placed?
If the order has not already despatched, we will try our best to amend the order.
Can I place an order by phone?
Where possible, we encourage customers to place their orders via the website. If you do have any queries or issues, please do contact us by phone or email.
Do you offer wholesale/reseller discounts?
This is available, subject to terms and conditions
Will I be charged immediately for my back order?
Yes, we will take payment immediately when you check out.
Why do some items show a 2-3 day despatch time?
These are Special Order items.
I live in the Channel Islands, which are VAT exempt, how can I order without VAT?
Please checkout as normal, selecting your country as Jersey or Guernsey as applicable.
How do I empty or amend my basket?
You can amend or empty your basket by clicking on the cart icon in the top right hand corner of the screen.
I have forgotten to enter my discount code, can you help?
Please try to remember to use your code at checkout, we are not able to apply this after your order is processed.
What is a back order?
You can reserve an item which is out of stock by placing a back order. All back orders are despatched once the stock arrives.
Some of my items are in stock, will you send me these before my back order item?
Where possible we can arrange to ship in-stock items in advance of back order items, however, this is not guaranteed. Please contact us for more information.
How do I cancel my order?
If you need to cancel your order, please call us on 01992 450780 as soon as possible. Please note that whilst we will do our best to help you, it is not always possible to cancel an order once it has been processed by our warehouse team.
How can I request an item is supplied with UKAS Calibration?
We are working to get all prices listed on each applicable item, until this is complete please email our sales team who can reply with a quotation.
Can you send proforma invoices or written quotations?
Of course, please email us with your requirements.
